Dear Parents

Welcome to the website of Roach Vale Primary School. I hope that, here, you are able to find everything you would like to know about our school. We are a friendly, open and caring community and you and your child are very welcome at our school. 

If you are new to Roach Vale, or if you are thinking of sending your child here, we would welcome the opportunity to show you around. Please make an appointment at the school office to come and meet us. 

All of us within the school community, children, staff and governors are very proud of our school and work hard to make it the best place it can be. I hope that, as you join the school community, you will feel able to take on responsibility of partnership in your child's education - a partnership between home, school and child. 

We all look forward to sharing in the education of your child, and we will do our best to ensure that they are able to develop to their full potential in a safe and happy environment.  We believe that every child is capable of amazing things; we aim to develop in each one of them a mindset that allows them to persevere, show determination and so aspire to be whatever they choose to be.

We all have high expectations of ourselves and of each other and we try to face new challenges with enthusiasm and positivity.  We hope that everyone who comes to join our learning community will feel able to share these ideals and aims.

Roach Vale Primary School would like to welcome our potential new children and families who might be joining our Early Years/Reception setting in September 2021.  

Due to the unforeseen circumstances of COVID-19, we will not be able to offer you a chance to visit our setting.  Because of this, our EYFS Team have created the virtual tour below for our parents.
